Our immediate focus is on the wellbeing, posttraumatic growth, and empowerment of the people of Myanmar — either living in the United States or in direct contact with Burmese communities living here.

Taking Flight: A Course in Creative Expression

This is a free art program being offered virtually to Burmese refugees in response to the recent military coup in Myanmar. Participants of this program will be given the opportunity to better explore, understand, and express the complex emotions that have resurfaced as a result of these events. They will do so through the training in and making of Expressionist artwork.
